Animation written and made for Harrow Arts Centre

EARTHrise was a commission created for Harrow Arts Centre in the first lockdown of 2020.  Using local folklore and talking to the young people who formed Harrow's Youth Drama Group, I wrote and created a short stop motion animation to illustrate their thoughts and vivid imaginations.

EARTHrise is a stop-motion animated short that was made using mainly natural materials and found objects to unearth an ancient mystery buried deep beneath Harrow. Listen to the voices of the young as they tell their tale. Witness the ground tremble as they unleash their imaginations onto the streets of Harrow. Watch, as the earth begins to rise... Made exclusively for Harrow Arts Centre, local young people will play a crucial part in narrating and creating the soundscape for EARTHrise.
