I am so excited to be working with the six incredible young performers on The Big Act drama school's Post-18 course to create the ten minute short film You Will Hear Me. 

 

The script has been a collaboration between myself, the students and the tutors, based on shared stories of sexual harassment. After realising so many of us had stories and experiences to share, I was asked to write a dynamic, sharp and witty exploration of the daily reality young women face.

The core of the short is set in a walk-in Sexual Health Clinic, where flashbacks, fantastical re-imaginings and fleeting fleabag moments of talking-to-camera bring together an ensemble of young women’s voices that clamour to be heard and to express their fury.
